William Patrick Spencer Gold, also known as Wilbur Soot (born 14 September 1996) is a British Twitch streamer and YouTuber. He was first recognized in 2017 due to his involvement with the group comedy YouTube channel Soot House, where he made recurring appearances and was the main editor and a co-founder. Gold later launched his own channel, Wilbur Soot, in March of 2019. In January of 2018, Gold released "The Nice Guy' Ballad", his debut single. The sixth track, "Your New Boyfriend" was a top-ranked single, reaching No. 65 on the UK Singles Chart. [11] Gold co-founded Lovejoy, a British indie rock band Lovejoy. He is the lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist. Their second EP, Pebble Brain, was released in 2021. The album debuted at No. 12 on the UK Albums Chart.
