Aaron Charles Rodgers (born December 2nd 1983) is also known by the nickname A-Rod, is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). Rodgers was born on December 2, 1983 at Butte College. He then transferred to California, where he played with the California Golden Bears. In 2008, Rodgers became the Packers starting quarterback. He helped lead the Packers to victories over the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV 2010 and was named Super Bowl MVP. He was named Associated Press Athlete-of-the Year in 2011, and was named league MVP for the 2011 and 2014 2020 NFL seasons. Rodgers is the 5th player to be awarded NFL MVP in consecutive seasons, joining Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Joe Montana and Jim Brown.
