 Onika Tanya Maraj -Petty (nee Maraj, born December 8th, 1982) is a Trinidadian rapper who lives in the United States. Her musical range, her lively flow, and the use of accents alter egos as well as her musical versatility are a few of her best-known qualities. After dropping three mixtapes between 2007 and 2009, Minaj was first recognized. Pink Friday (2010) was her debut album. Billboard 200 chart. The fifth track, "Super Bass", was ranked third on the U.S. The RIAA has certified it as diamond on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012) Minaj's second album that explored dance-pop. The lead single "Starships" was a top five on the charts around the world. It was also the first YouTube music video to surpass one billion views. In 2018, she released Queen the fourth album of her career. It was followed by "Chun-Li" which was one of the top 10 hits in the U.S. The collaboration she had with KarolG "Tusa", was the longest-running top one single on the Argentina Hot 100 charts in 2019. The first Minaj Hot 100 number one singles included "Trollz" in 2020 , and "Say That" in the year 2020. Minaj also scored her third number one single, "Super Freaky Girl" in her fifth studio album. It was the first song from a female rapper to have was ranked at the top of the charts in the U.S. since 1998.
