 Paris Whitney Hilton was born on February 17, 1981. She is an American businesswoman and media personality. Her birthplace was in New York City and raised in Beverly Hills, California. Conrad Hilton, founder of Hilton Hotels, is her great-granddaughter. Hilton was first discovered by tabloids in the late 1990s. Hilton became a frequent participant in the city's social scene, and was signed by Donald Trump's company Trump Model Management at the age of 19. Hilton was called "New York's Most Popular It Girl" by Vanity Fair in 2001 after David LaChapelle took a photo of her as well as Nicky. The actress starred on The Simple Life (2003-2007) which was a reality television series where she was paired with Nicole Richie.
