It has seventy-three episodes over the course of eight seasons. The Iron Throne of Seven Kingdoms of Westeros is the first major arc. It involves a string of political disputes between noble families that or fight for the throne or are fighting to become distinct from the one that holds it. The second is about the last descendant from the deposed ruling dynasty of the kingdom, who was exiled in Essos and is aiming to be crowned. The Night's Watch is a military organisation that protects the kingdom from threats beyond Westeros's northern boundaries. Game of Thrones has an active and diverse fan base. The show has been praised by critics for its intricate characters, acting as well as its story, character, and production values.
