Amanda Knox

Amanda Marie Knox was born on the 9th of July in 1987. She is an American journalist activist, author, and author. After Meredith Kercher's 2007 murder her conviction was wrong and sentenced to four years in prison in Italy. Knox was an exchange student and lived in the apartment with Perugia. The Italian Supreme Court of Cassation was acquitting Knox in 2015. Knox, who was 20 when she was arrested, called police following her return home to Kercher and Kercher's apartment. Kercher's bedroom doors were locked and there was blood in the bathroom. After the police interrogations, the conduct which was a matter for disagreement, Knox allegedly confessed to the murder, along with Patrick Lumumba, her employer. At first, Knox, Sollecito, and Lumumba were all detained for Kercher's murder, but Lumumba was released shortly after. In the initial trial, Knox and Sollecito were found guilty and sentenced to 26 and 25 years in prison and Sollecito was sentenced to 25 years. A reputed burglar, Rudy Guede, was caught a couple of days after the discovery of his blood stained fingerprints on the possessions of Kercher. Guede was later found guilty of murder during the fast-track trial, and sentenced to a 30-year prison sentence, then reduced to 16 years. An Italian court ruled Guede could finish his sentence through community service.
