 Dwayne Douglas, a.k.a as The Rock, was born on May 2nd on the 2nd of May, 1972. He is an actor from the United States and an ex-professional wrestler. The Rock is widely regarded as one of the top professional wrestlers of all time and was instrumental in the growth and success of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in the Attitude Era, an industry boom time that lasted from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. Johnson was a member of the WWF for eighteen years before deciding to pursue a career in acting. His films have earned him more than $3.5 billion in North America and over $10.5 billion globally, making him one of the world's highest-grossing and most-paid actors.Prior to his emergence as an actor with the highest grossing earnings in the decade of 2010, Johnson was an athlete. He attended Freedom High School in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley, he ultimately emerged as a standout on the school's wrestling and football teams. He was an outstanding player on the Freedom High School football team, and was ranked as one of the top ten high school defensive tackle prospects in the nation.
