Daniil Medvedev

 Daniil SergeyevichMedvedev, Russian professional tennis player; born on the 11th of February, 1996. He currently ranks as No. 7, according to the Association of Tennis Professionals. He was also placed at No. 7 in singles according to the ATP. 1 for 16 total weeks. Medvedev has been a winner of 15 ATP Tour singles titles including the 2021 US Open title and the 2020 ATP Finals. Medvedev defeated then world No. to deny him the Grand Slam, Medvedev defeated Novak Djokovic in final. He was the first and only player to defeat the top three players of the world to take home the championship title at the end of the year. He also took home four Masters 1000 titles, and played in the four main finals. 3 Stan Wawrinka. Medvedev was recognized for his first ATP Tour singles titles in Sydney and Winston-Salem and also his first ATP 500 title in Tokyo. In the year 2019, he had an impressive comeback, making his debut in the top 10 and advancing to six tournament semifinals in a row which included Wimbledon. Medvedev was crowned the world's number. 1 player following the Big Four in February 2022. The No. 1 position was achieved following Andy Roddick in Feb 2004. It was the third Russian man to be ranked, following Yevgeny Kafelnikov (1999) as well as Marat Safin (2000) as well as the 27th overall.
