Raven-Symone Christina Christina Pearman–Maday[5][(nee Pearman; December 10, 1985) (nee Pearman; December 10, 1985),[8] Also known as Raven, she is an American actor and singer. Raven has received numerous awards including five NAACP Image Awards and two Kids' Choice Awards. Three Young Artist Awards were also awarded to her. There have also been three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. She was named to VH1's "100 Most Influential Child Stars" list in 2012. Raven-Symone's career began as a child actor playing the characters of Olivia Kendall (1989-1992) on The Cosby Show and Nicole Lee (1993-1997) and Nicole Lee (1993-1997), each of which earned many awards and nominations. She was 15 when she was cast as Raven Baxter in the Disney Channel television show That's So Raven (1993-1992). As a result of this role she was nominated for and received many awards. Her film credits include Dr. Dolittle (1998), its sequel Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), The Princess Diaries 2 (2004) as well as College Road Trip (2008) and College Road Trip (2008), all of which were success at the box office. Her film credits for television include Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999), its second sequel Zenon: Z3 (2004), The Cheetah Girls (2003), the sequel The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006) for One Night (2006), and Revenge of the Bridesmaids (2010). Raven-Symone was also the voice of Monique on the animated show Kim Possible and Tinker Bell (2008). Raven-Symone will be back in the role of Raven Baxter in Raven's Home (2017-2018) and she was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award to Outstanding Performer for Children's Programming. Raven-Symone's debut album"Here's to New Dreams (1993) was a moderate commercial success, with the single "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of". [10] Her subsequent studio albums, Undeniable (1999), This Is My Time (2004) and Raven-Symone (2008) had some commercial success in the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. Her voice was also utilized in a variety of Disney soundtracks which included That's So Raven (2004) and That's So Cheetah Girl (2006), and That's So Raven Too! (2006) and The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006). A majority of these soundtracks were certified platinum or gold. Between 2015 and 2016, she was also co-host of ABC's talk show on daytime, The View. She is set to host and executive produce the new reality series What Not to Design.
