Kenya Summer Moore was born on January 24, 1971. She is an American model and actress. Her most notable achievements are being the winner of the Miss USA pageant in 1993. She was also on the reality series on Bravo, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore rose to fame in 1993 when she won the Miss USA contest and placed in the top six spots of the Miss Universe pageant. Following Carole Gist, Moore was the second African-American woman to be named Miss USA. She also is the first woman with dark skin color to be crowned Miss USA. Moore was featured in a variety of television and film shows that included Waiting To Exhale (1995) and Deliver Us From Eva(2003), The Steve Harvey Show (2003) and Girlfriends (2004). She is among the most watched reality shows. Moore also was part of the 2015 season of The Celebrity Apprentice, as also a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, and was part of the initial The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip casting in 2021. Moore has produced a number of films, wrote an ebook, and was featured in her own workout videos. Her involvement in entrepreneurial ventures is a further point of interest. She co-founded Kenya Moore Hair, a hair care brand.
