Emma Watson

 Watson attended the Dragon School, and she also studied acting at the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. When she was a kid, she rose to stardom after landing her first acting job professionally in the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, after having previously only acted in school plays. Watson was also in the 2007 television adaptation of the novel Ballet Shoes and lent her voice to The Tale of Despereaux (2008). After the film's conclusion, Harry Potter, Watson played a supporting role in My Week with Marilyn (2011). She then starred as Sam, a free-spirited, flirtatious student in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). This was a critical hit. A further acclaim was earned by her portrayal of Alexis Neiers in Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring (2013) and also as the main character's adopted daughter in Darren Aronofsky's epic biblical tale Noah. Watson was also named British Artist of Year by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in the year. Watson also starred in the live-action adaptation of the romantic musical Beauty and the Beast (2017). This film is among the most successful films of all time. She also played Meg March in Greta Gerwig’s coming-of age drama Little Women (2019). Watson graduated from Brown University in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in English literature. Watson was selected as an UN Women Goodwill Ambassador in 2015 and assisted in the creation of HeForShe which promotes equality of gender. In the year 2018, she helped launch Time's Up UK, which was a founding member. Watson was appointed to the 2019 G7 advisory group for women's rights, consulting with foreign policy experts. She has modeled for Burberry, Lancome and other brands. She also lent her name to a clothing line for the environmentally-friendly brand People Tree. As a proponent of sustainable fashion, she joined Kering's board of directors in 2020.
