Perrette has worked in TV and film, mainly doing commercials, voice-overs videos and short films. She worked as a bartender in New York City. When she was doing odd tasks in New York, she was approached by a close friend of the director of an advertising agency. The director moved her to Los Angeles after this encounter. In Los Angeles, she played various roles and was often a guest star. [6] She appeared as waitress at Cafe Nervosa in the sitcom Frasier in the fourth season (in the episode "Three Dates and a Break Up") as well as she guest-starred in season one of 24. She's been in numerous films including Almost Famous and The Ring. In 2001, she appeared as the main character on Special Unit 2's season 2. Her most memorable part was as Abby Sciuto (an eccentric forensic scientist) in NCIS, a TV series that was based on the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Perrette's initial appearances as the character were in two episodes on JAG which aired in the spring of 2003. They served as an unofficial pilot that presented the characters. Since then, she has been seen as Abby in NCIS: Los Angeles in 2009 and NCIS New Orleans in 2014. In in the year 2016. Donald P. Bellisario created the character Abby Sciuto. Perrette also shared her "contributions" and consulted with Clint Catalyst who is often invited to talk about the "author of Cottonmouth Kisses," which are works about goth culture or alternative cultures. There are occasions that one activity is more punk-oriented than the next however it's not a turf war that involves gang colors.
