David Wayne Spade, born July 22nd, 1964 David Wayne Spade, born on July 22, 1964, is an American actor, writer, comedian and host of a television show. In the 90s, he was a part of the Saturday Night Live cast. Later, he began his career in TV as well as film. He also appeared in or appeared in the films Tommy Boy (1995), Black Sheep (1996), The Emperor's New Groove (2001), Joe Dirt (2001), Dickie Robs: Former Child Star(2003), The Benchwarmers (2006) and Grown Ups (2010). He was part of the ensemble cast on two sitcoms: Just Shoot Me! Rules of Engagement (2007-2013) and Just Shoot Me! He was also in 8 Simple Rules (2004-2005) as C. J. Barnes. The show received nominations for two Golden Globes and a Primetime Emmy Award for his performance in the show Just Shoot Me! Spade was the voice actor for Ranger Frank in The Rugrats Movie (1998), Kuzco and Kuzco in The Emperor's New Groove ((2000) as well as its direct-to-video sequel, Kronk's New Groove (2006) as well as the red panda Aliur (Snowflake The White Gorilla (2013), and Griffin the Invisible Men from the Hotel Transylvania movie series (2012-2022). Spade was host of Lights Out, a late-night talk show with David Spade that aired from July 29 through 2019. Spade's style of comedy is based on self-deprecation, sarcasm as well as stand-up comedy.
