Jason Statham

 Jason Statham (/'steIth@m/; born 26 July 1967) is an English actor. He is well-known for playing characters in various action-thriller films who are typically tough, hardboiled, gritty, or violent.Statham began practising Chinese martial art, kickboxing, and karate for fun during his early years, while working at local market stalls. An avid diver and footballer and diver, he was part of the British national diving team and played for England at the 1990 Commonwealth Games. He was soon asked to appear in various ads for Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger and French Connection. He was a market stall worker , and was cast in Guy Ritchie's crime films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch ((2000). The films became commercially successful and Statham became Frank Martin in the Transporter Trilogy (2002-2008). He was a Hollywood star after appearing in a number of heist films and action-thrillers which included Crank (2006) as well as War (2007). However, he has been in a variety of critically and commercially unsuccessful films such as Revolver (2005), Chaos (2005), In the Name of the King (2007), 13 (2010), Blitz (2011), Killer Elite (2011), Hummingbird (2013) and Wild Card (2015). He was a part the action-packed ensemble series The Expendables (2010), Furious 7 (2015) and The Fate of the Furious (2017), Wild Card (2013) and F9 (2021). He appeared in Fast & Furious 6 (2013) and Furious 7 (2015). F9 (2021), The Fate of the Furious (2017). The spin-off Fast & Furious Presents, Hobbs & Shaw (2019) also included Deckard Shaw. He was credited as co-producer on Hobbs & Shaw, receiving his first production credit.
