Wendy Williams, aka Wendy Joan Williams was born on July 18 1964. She is an American broadcaster and writer. She was the host of the Wendy Williams Show, a nationally syndicated TV talk show. Williams, formerly known as Wendy Joan Williams was a radio host and DJ. Williams quickly gained a fame as a shock jockette in New York as a shock jockette. Her fame was based on her on-air squabbles with celebrities and was also the host of the 2006 VH1 reality TV show The Wendy Williams Experience, which aired events from her radio show.Williams' other endeavors include writing several books, appearing in a variety of films and TV shows, touring her comedy show,[2][3] as well as her own line of products that include a clothing line, a jewelry line and the hair line. Williams was admitted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009. When she turned 50 the city council of Asbury Park, New Jersey changed the name of the street in where she was raised Wendy Williams Way.
