 Khaled first gained recognition as a host on radio in the 90s on the station 99 Jamz, and translated his fame by working alongside Terror Squad as a DJ for their live performances. After gaining production credits on the group's material,[4] Khaled released his debut album Listennn... the Album in the year 2006, and was certified gold. The album was followed by We the Best (2007) that featured the number one single "I'm So Hood". Following his establishment of the label We the Best Music Group and released his second album -We Global (2008) and Victory (2010) We Global (2008) & Victory (2010) - were released. Both albums charted in top ten of the US Billboard 200, with the second album featuring the hit song "All I Do Is Win" that was later certified triple platinum. His fifth studio album We the Best Forever (2011) also saw similar commercial success and helped bring Khaled to the international spotlight due to the song "I'm on One" that was the first of his top ten hits. His sixth and seventh albums, Kiss the Ring (2012) and Suffering from Suffering from (2013) both reached the top ten on the Billboard 200, and his eighth studio album called I Changed a Lot (2015) reached the top spot at 12. Because of his social media activity, Khaled gained global attention in the years 2015 and 2016. This foresaw the release of the album he released as his ninth studio effort Major Key (2016), that was a commercial and critical success; it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, was certified gold, and was awarded an Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
