Britney Spears

 Britney Jean Spears (born on December 2, 1981) is an American musician, singer and dancer. Often called the "Princess of Pop", she is credited with influencing the revival of teen-pop in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Spears at the age of fifteen years old when she signed with Jive Records when she appeared in stage productions as well as TV shows. Her debut two studio albums, ...Baby One More Time (1999) and Oops !... I Did It Again (2000), are among the most popular albums ever. They also have made Spears the most-seller teenage artist ever. Oops !... was a first week sales total exceeding 1.3 million copies. Oops!... held the title of the top-selling female album in America for fifteen years. Spears adopted an older and more provocative style for her albums Britney (2001) and In the Zone (2003), and starred in the 2002 film Crossroads. Spears was executive producer on her fifth studio album Blackout (2007), often referred to as her best work. Spears was put in conservatorship following a series of personal problems that were publicized. The singer has released two chart-topping albums: Femme Fatale (2011) and Circus (2008). The latter album was her best-selling era in singles on the US charts. Britney started a four-year stay at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Britney: Piece of Me. This was to promote her two next albums, Britney Jean (2013) and Glory (2016). In the year 2019 Britney Spears's battle with the conservatorship became more widely known and eventually led to the formation of the #FreeBritney campaign. In the wake of her public testimony where she accused her management and her family of abuse, her conservatorship ended in 2021.
