Michalka was selected to play the role of Keely Tslow in the Disney Channel's Phil of the Future in 2004. The show premiered on the 18th of June in 2004. Following two seasons, the show was terminated by Disney Channel in August 2006. She has also starred in the Disney Channel original movie Now You See It ..., and was in the TV movie Cow Belles opposite her sister. Michalka as well as her sister appeared in various projects made by Disney Channel and MTV. In 2007, they were in the MTV film Super Sweet 16: The Movie based on the MTV show My Super Sweet 16. In August 2009, she co-starred in the Walden Media film Bandslam. 10. Michalka was announced by The CW as Marti Perkins as the main character of the show's cheerleader drama Hellcats in April 2010.
