Kellie Dawn Pickler was born on June 28th June 28, 1986. She is an American country-oriented singer, songwriter, and television personality. Pickler became famous as a contestant on the fifth season of American Idol and finished in sixth position. In 2006, she signed to 19 Recordings and BNA Records as an artist. The album she released her debut album, Small Town Girl, was released in the year following and has sold over 900,000. copies. It was certified gold by RIAA and produced three singles on Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
