Robbins denied the accusations and claimed that his story was part of a one-year BuzzFeed investigation. My team was informed by the organization that they are planning to release an untrue, agenda-driven, and full of lies version of what happened in the past. BuzzFeed News published six parts in November 2019 , claiming Robbins of being an eminent speaker at SuperCamp which was a famous summer camp in southern California. The alleged incident is said to have occurred in the year 1985 at the time that Robbins was just 25 years old. The article states that at the very least two witnesses witnessed the incident. Other media outlets also covered the allegations. Robbins denied any wrongdoing and filed a lawsuit against BuzzFeed News Ireland.
