Tony Robbins

 Robbins was born Anthony J. Mahavoric on February 29, 1960 in North Hollywood, California. Robbins is the eldest of three children, and his parents divorced when he turned seven years old. Robbins is of Croatian heritage from both sides of his family. His mother then got married several times, including a marriage to Jim Robbins, a former semi-professional player in baseball who adopted Anthony when he was 12 years old. Robbins was a student at Glendora High School. Robbins increased his height by 10 inches during high school. The increase in height was later blamed on the pituitary tumor. Robbins has claimed that his family life was "chaotic" and "abusive". At the age of 17 old, he emigrated from his home and never came back. Robbins then worked as a janitor, and was not a college student. One day , he questioned the property's landlord, who was a close family friend about how he was so successful. The landlord then told him that he had begun to turn his life around after going to a Jim Rohn seminar.
