Timothy Richard Tebow, /'ti.boUwas born on 14 August on the 14th of August, 1987. He is an American footballer who is an unrestricted free agent. He played for three seasons in the National Football League (NFL) as a quarterback, the most notably as a member of the Denver Broncos. Tebow was a college football player at Florida. He won the Heisman Trophy as the first underclassman, and was the team's leader in two BCS National Championship wins in 2007. In 2009, Tebow was named the Broncos team's starter for the season of 2011. His time as a starter helped revitalize a struggling team, guiding the team to their first divisional title and playoff victory since 2005. But questions regarding Tebow's future plans resulted in him being traded to the New York Jets the next offseason. He was a part-time player as a reserve. 6 Tebow was not selected for the rosters for either the New England Patriots or Philadelphia Eagles. Instead Tebow pursued a minor-league baseball career with the New York Mets from 2016 to 2021. Tebow retired from baseball in the year. He returned to the NFL and was a tight end for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles. However Tebow was dismissed after only one game. Tebow went on to a minor league baseball career with the New York Mets from 2016 through 2021.
