Storage Wars, also known as STORAGE WAR$ in USA is an American reality TV competition series that is aired on A&E. The original twelve-season series ran from December 1st 2010, through January 30th in 2019. The 13th season premiered on April 20, 2021. If rent hasn't been paid for three months in California, contents can be sold by auctioneers as one lot in a cash-only auction. The show follows professional buyers who go to storage locations throughout the state, and then take bids on lockers. Before auctioning off each locker the buyers are granted five minutes to look over the contents of the locker from the front doorway, but may not be allowed to enter the locker, or even touch any of the items.After the auction is completed, the successful bidders' sort through the lockers, estimating the prices they will set on the contents, and/or speaking with experts for an appraisal of items that are unusual. The episode ends with a summary of the net loss and profit.
