Slavery

Enslavement and slavery are both the status and condition of being a slave, who is a person who is not allowed to leave the enslaver's service and is considered by the slave owner as property.Slavery usually is when slaves are forced to perform some form of work, while having their location or residence dictated by the slave owner. There have been many instances of slavery in the past that were the consequence of breaking the law, becoming debt-ridden, or facing the loss of a war. Other types of slavery were imposed according to demographics, such as race. Slaves can be held in a bond for life or for a specific period of time. Following that, they'd be free. Slavery is generally voluntary and requires coercion. However, some people will voluntarily take up slavery in order to pay off a loan or earn money. Slavery was an integral element of human civilisation. It was legal in a number of countries. In economics, de facto slavery refers to the conditions of slavery and the forced labor most slaves endure. In the year of 2019, more than 40 million people, out of whom 26 percent were children, were in slavery around the world regardless of the fact that it is illegal. In the modern world, more than 50 percent of slaves work for a wage mostly in sweatshops and factories of the private sector of a country's economy. Human trafficking is an industrialized type of slavery. In countries that are not industrialized, debt bondage is a popular method of slavery.
