Skylar Mays

 Mays was the Tigers the starting point guard in his first year of college. Mays averaged 8.3 points and 2.2 rebound over the course of the course of 31 games (25 starts) as well as 3.6 assists. 5 Mays was a sophomore who averaged 11.3 points, 4.0 rebound, 3.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. As an undergraduate, Mays scored 13.4 points and 3.3 rebound per game. He was also named a scholar-athlete in the conference and second-team All-Southeastern Conference. 7] 8] Mays reached 1,000 career points in a game against Texas A&M on February 26, 2019.[9] Mays was named second All-Southeastern Conference second team (SEC) and was named the scholar-athlete of the year for the conference. Mays also tied his record for career points with 30 and eight rebounds during the overtime defeat of 91-90 at Auburn. Mays was named Academic All-American of the Year following the end of the regular season. He was also picked to be the first Team All-SEC Academic All-American of the year. Mays was also named the Scholar-Athlete of Year.
