Ariana Grande

In her third and second studio albums, My Everything (2014), and Dangerous Woman (2016), she continued exploring pop and R&B. My Everything experimented with EDM and was a global hit with its singles "Problem", "Break Free" and "Bang Bang", while Dangerous Woman became her first album to have four consecutive albums at number one in the UK. The personal issues she faced influenced her trap-infused fourth (2018) and fifth (2019) studio albums, Sweetener (2018), which were both commercial and critical achievements. Sweetener received the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, and Thank U, Next broke the record for the most streamed week for a pop album and was nominated for Album of the Year. Grande was the first solo artist to reach the top three positions of the Hot 100 and become the first woman to achieve the top position on the UK Singles Chart with the singles "Thank U. Next", "7 Rings" and "Break up with Your Girlfriend. Grande beat the Hot 100 record for the highest number-one debuts by debuting Justin Bieber's collaboration for 2020 "Stuck with U" with Lady Gaga, while "Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga won the Grammy Award for the best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Grande's sixth studio album, Positions 2020 (R&B-focused), debuted at number one both in the UK as well as the US. The album's title single was also a big smash. In 2021, she recorded her sixth US top-seller after appearing in the remix to The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears".
