Pat Boone

 Patrick Charles Eugene Boone (born June 1st 1934) is an American actor and singer. He was a successful pop artist in the United States during the 1950s and the 1960s early. Boone sold more than 45 million records, performed 38 Top 40 hit songs, and was in 12 Hollywood movies. According to Billboard, he was the No. 2 on their list of the Top 100 Top 40 Artists 1955-1995. according to Billboard, Boone ranked 9 in their list of Top 100 Top 40 Artists 1955-1995. Until the 2010s Boone was the only artist to hold the Billboard record of having two decades on the charts, with at least one track every week. Boone hosted an hour-long ABC television show known as The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom. It ran for 115 episodes (1957-1960). The show featured a variety of performers, such as Edie Adams, Pearl Bailey, Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis, and Pearl Bailey. The songs he covered of rhythm and blues songs were a major influence on the rise of the rock and roll genre's popularity. Elvis Presley was the opening act in an 1955 Pat Boone concert in Brooklyn, Ohio. He was a member of The Gospel Music Hall of Fame in the 1960s. He continues to perform and speaks in the capacity of a motivational speaker, TV personality and a conservative political commentator
