Herran was in a position to meet with director Daniel Guzman in Malaga and audition for the role as Dario in the film Nothing in Return. In 2016, Herran received the Goya Award for his movie Nothing in Return. Herran was also cast in 2017 as Anibal Cortes (codenamed 'Rio) in Antena 3's series Money Heist. Netflix later added Herran to their lineup. He was a part of the Netflix series Elite in the year 2018. Herran also appeared in an advertisement for Gaana, an Indian music streaming service. Miguel Angel Garcia de la Herran is a Spanish actor from Spain. He is best known for his performances in the TV series Money Heist and Elite. In the year 2016, he won the Goya Award for Best New Actor for his part in the film Nothing in Return.
