Michael Jeffrey Jordan, also called his initials MJ[99) is an American businessman who was once an NBA professional. According to the official NBA website Jordan's biography is as follows: "By acclamation Michael Jordan is the most outstanding NBA player of all time." 10 He was a 15-year veteran of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was the winner of six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls. Jordan is the chief owner and chairman of the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA and 23XI Racing in NASCAR Cup Series. Jordan played three seasons of basketball in college under Dean Smith, the North Carolina Tar Heels' coach. He was an Tar Heels freshman and played college basketball for three years under Dean Smith's coaching. He took his first NBA championship in 1991 for the Bulls and then won championships in 1992 and 1993. He was able to achieve the record-breaking three-peat. Jordan left basketball in 1993 and 1994 to pursue a career in Minor League Baseball. He returned to the Bulls in 1995, and they won three more championships in 1997 1998, 1997 and 1998. They also scored an unprecedented 72 regular-season victories during the 1995-96 NBA. In the month of January, he resigned yet again, but he was able to return to the NBA for two additional seasons as a player of the Washington Wizards.
