George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron FRS (22 January 1788 19 April 1824) was known as Lord Byron, was an English romantic poet and peer.He was one of the leading figures of the Romantic movement, and was regarded one of the most important English poets. Among his best-known works are the lengthy narratives Don Juan and Childe Harold's Pilgrimage; many of his lyrics that were shorter are in Hebrew Melodies also became popularByron was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, then he traveled extensively across Europe to places such as Italy and Italy, where he resided for seven years in Venice, Ravenna, and Pisa after being forced to leave England due to lynching threats. In Italy He often visited his poet friend Percy Bysshe Shelley. Later during his lifetime, Byron joined the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire. He was killed from a fever after the First and Second Sieges of Missolonghi.
