Justine Bateman

Bateman started her acting career as a teenager playing the role of superficial Mallory Keaton in Family Ties. She continued this role until 1989. She hosted an episode on the 13th season of Saturday Night Live in 1988. She was nominated for two Emmy Awards as well as a Golden Globe Award for her work on Family Ties. [citation needed]

She starred in the role of Sarah, Eldard’s girlfriend, in the 1996-97 NBC American edition of Men Behaving Poorly. Bateman was back on TV in 2003 for the Showtime mini-series Out of Order. She was joined by Felicity Huffman, Eric Stoltz and William H. Macy. In the episode "Family Ties" from Arrested Development, she is incorrectly believed to be Michael Bluth’s sister. However, it turns out that her character is actually a prostitute who has been exploited by his father and lavishly spoiled by his brother. Jason Bateman was the character Michael Bluth. He was also the brother of Bateman. Britta Phillips, Liam Neeson and Julia Roberts all made appearances in the movie about a girl-only band. Bateman starred as the lead singer and sang in the film's soundtrack. Other films that feature him include The Night We Never Met, with Matthew Broderick, and The TV Set which starred David Duchovny and Sigourney Weaver.
