John McEnroe

 John Patrick McEnroe Jr. (born on the 16th of February, 1959) is an American professional tennis player who played for the past few years. He was famous for his volleying and shot-making abilities and his battles with Bjorn Borg and Jimmy Connors, and his confrontational on-court behavior that often got him in the crosshairs of officials and authorities.McEnroe is the sole male player in tennis history to hold the world number. 1 ranking for singles and doubles at the same time. Stefan Edberg was the only male player to ever reach No. Both at different times, however only one other male player, Stefan Edberg has reached the No. McEnroe's final season was marked by 77 singles titles and 78 doubles titles on ATP Tour; this is the highest total men's Open Era combined. McEnroe is the only male tennis player to have won more than 70 titles in both the men’s singles and men’s doubles categories. He also took home 25 singles titles in the ATP Champions tour. He took home seven Grand Slam singles titles (four at the US Open and three at Wimbledon) as well as nine Grand Slam men's doubles titles (five at Wimbledon and four at the US Open), and one Grand Slam mixed doubles title (at the French Open). His singles match record of 82-3 was the best single season win rate of the Open Era.
