Star called Dahvie Vanity (Blood on the Dance Floor) a "child fake" in 2010. Star tweeted that Vanity had "brought underage girls into his bedroom 100% ILLEGAL" in 2010. Star claimed he witnessed the 2012 actions of Vanity. Another tweet shows Star encouraging people to "get over the negativity" against Vanity and promoting the Blood on the Dance Floor album. Star was accused of collaborating with Vanity despite knowing about sexual assault allegations to profit off Vanity's continued success. Following an HuffPost report detailing sexual assault - before and after 2010 - against 21 people (many of whom were minors), Chris Hansen of To Catch a Predator started reporting on the incident. [36] In a video interview with Hansen on YouTube, Star said he did not know of any sexually inappropriate activities between Vanity and the underage girls when they were working together. He also said that his tweets were based upon hearsay.
