Keeso played the role of Keeso in two CBC TV films that focused on Cherry's life. [3] The first, Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story, aired in early 2010. It it was later followed by The Wrath of Grapes: The Don Cherry Story II in 2012. For his performances, he won the Leo Award for Best Lead Performance by a Male in a feature Length Drama, as well as an Gemini Award for Best Performance by an actor playing a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series.In 2013, Keeso and Mike Borden established Play Fun Games Pictures on YouTube. A series of shorts which featured the Canadian farmer and his struggles has made the channel an enormous success. The show, Letterkenny Problems, has attracted over 100 million views (as as of January 2022) and served as the basis for the cult 2016 sitcom Letterkenny. The sketches as well as the TV show were filming in Sudbury, Ontario.
