Friendship

 Friendship is an inter-personal relationship that involves an affectionate relationship between people. Friendship is an interpersonal bond that is stronger than "acquaintance" or "association" like a classmate or neighbor or coworker. In certain communities, friendship may be restricted to a handful of close friends. However, in other countries, like the U.S. or Canada, there are many friends as well as an intimate relationship with a handful of people who might be called best friends or even good friends. A more common name is besties or Best Friends Forever. There are many types of friendship. Some may be different in different places however there are some traits that are common in every form of. These include being with one another, sharing time together, and being in a position to and willing to assist each other. A friend zone is where someone is prevented from achieving the status of lover (see the book Unrequited Love).
