Elizabeth Hurley

 Hurley briefly appeared on television in 1988 as a girl in "Last Seen Wearing", an episode from the detective show Inspector Morse. Part of the episode was shot at Reading Blue Coat [citation neededHurley was a student at Reading Blue Coat Sonning in Berkshire. It is believed to be her first TV role. She was also Rosie Japhet on an episode of Rumpole of the Bailey (Rumpole and the Barrow Boy) in the year. In the late year of 1988, Hurley portrayed the title character in a drama on television, Christabel. Following her appearance on John Cleese’s The Human Face (2001), Hurley hosted the first series of Project Catwalk, a British reality TV show that aired on Sky 1 in 2006. Marcelle D'ArgySmith, an ex-editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, has criticized Hurley as a presenter saying Hurley had no fashion experience. She wore a dress and has been seen at premieres." GQ's Dylan Jones defended her as an individual "immersed in the fashion industry as a famous person. "[citation required] She was fired following a series, because her bosses believed she was too wooden. Hurley filmed a guest part as Veronica Cale in the pilot series of NBC's Wonder Woman. The series was not picked up by the network. In July 2011, it was announced that Hurley will be joining the fifth season of Gossip Girl for a multi-episode storyline. Her character, Diana Payne, was described by the series' executive producers as "a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with", whose "entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters--including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself
