Dove Olivia Cameron (born Chloe Celeste Hosterman on 15 January in 1996 [3Dove Olivia Cameron (born on January 15, 1996[3), is an American actor and singer. Her dual role as the character named after her in the Disney Channel comedy series Liv and Maddie was recognized with the Daytime Emmy Award in Outstanding Performer in Children's Programing. Cameron continued to work for Disney Channel, and she played Mal in Descendants (2015-2021). Cameron was a part of the NBC live-television musical Hairspray Live! in the year 2016. From 2018 until 2019, she played Cher Horowitz in an off-Broadway production of Clueless in 1995. In 2019, she made her London debut as Clara Johnson in The Light in the Piazza. Cameron was also in Vengeance (2022) which is an action-comedy. In the year 2019, she made her stage debut on the stage in London as Clara Johnson. She was the lead vocalist for the soundtrack album of Liv and Maddie (2015). The album also featured "If only" her debut single. The album was a top seller on the US Billboard 200 and was certified gold. Cameron was also a part of Descendants 2 (2017-2019). In 2019, she released her first album of music, Bloodshot / Waste. The singer dropped "Boyfriend" in 2022. The track was a commercial hit and climbed to the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. It was also certified platinum by RIAA.
