Donatella Versace

 Donatella Versace was born in Reggio di Calabria, Italy and was one of the youngest children; Santo, Gianni, and Tina. Her father, Antonio, helped run the family's coal mining company and her mother, Francesca, was a seamstress at a fashion business prior to launching her own fashion store. Tina was her older sister, passed away due to a tetanus-related disease at twelve. Francesca, the mother of Donatella, worked as a seamstress in a fashion company before she launched her own fashion boutique. Donatella also studied literature and languages in Florence in the mid-1970s. On the weekends she would travel to Milan to join Gianni who was employed at the Callaghan fashion label.Donatella's mother did not approve she should concentrate on her studies and she would follow up on Donatella by making surprise visits to Florence
