Cynthia Rhodes

 Rhodes was born in Nashville, Tennessee. She started her career in showbiz in the prestigious Opryland USA in 1970 as an actress and singer while attending Glencliff High School[citation neededThe school required citations. Rhodes also refused to participate in photo shoots for Playboy magazine, and she refused scripts that demanded nudity. Sylvester Stallone was the Staying Alive director. He said that Rhodes would rather leave the industry than embarrass her parents. "Rhodes played a small role in the fantasy film Xanadu. She was part of the 1982 video production titled "The Tubes Video" which was produced by Russell Mulcahy, choreographed and choreographed in by Kenny Ortega. The music video ran for 52 minutes and included Rhodes as one of three backup dancers in the band from San Francisco, The Tubes. It includes songs such as "Talk to You Later", Sushi Girl", Sports Fans, as well as "Mondo Bondage". Her next film role was Tina Tech in Flashdance. After Flashdance Rhodes was chosen to play John Travolta's backup dancer in Sylvester Stallone's 1983 film Staying Alive. This sequel to Saturday Night Fever, which was released in 1977, also featuring John Rhodes. Jackie Rhodes was an ensemble dancer and bar band singer, who was often Travolta's love-interest. The movie, despite not being well received it was a commercial hit.
