Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She was featured on several TV shows during the late 1980s, such as Growing Pains, Fast Times and Infidelity. She was also in a number of television movies such as The Thanksgiving Promise, Infidelity, as well as Day by Day, which she starred with Linda Kelsey, Douglas Sheehan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In the year 1990, she was part of six episodes on L.A. Law as Laker Girl Kimberly Dugan.Her first notable starring television role was as Alison Parker on Melrose Place from 1992 until 1997. In 1995, she was the main character in Beauty's Revenge, a movie made for television. It was also released on DVD and CD in the form of "Midwest Obsession". Following this, she went to be Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal from 1997 to 2000. Thorne Smith auditioned initially for the role of Georgia Thomas on the show. It was eventually given to Calista Lockhart. Her character was written out of Ally McBeal at the beginning of season four in 2000 however she did return for occasional guest appearances afterward. Later, she said that she left the show partly because of the pressure to remain slim. US Weekly reported that she began to eat too much and exercise excessively and harmed her immune system. "The amount of time I spent thinking about food and getting angry over my body was crazy. "From 2001 to 2009 she played Cheryl on the show According to Jim. Her pregnancy, which was real in 2007, was initially kept secret, but it was later made part of the plot of the show. She signed up to play Alan Harper's girlfriend Lyndsey McElroy in season seven, Two and a Half Men on February 18 in the 18th of February, 2010. She was featured in 52 episodes from season seven through twelve.
