Chad Ochocinco Johnson (born Chad Javon Johnson; January 9 1978) was known from 2008 until 2012 as ChadOchocinco, is an ex- American football wide receiver. He played in the NCAA football tournament for Santa Monica College and Oregon State University and played for 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots as well as the Miami Dolphins. In the second round of, 2001 NFL Draft, he was drafted by Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Bengals for ten seasons. Johnson was traded to New England Patriots in 2011 which was the year he played in Super Bowl XLVI. Johnson was arrested for domestic violence in 2012 and then played preseason for the Miami Dolphins. From 2014 through 2015, Johnson played for the Montreal Alouettes (CFL), and he played one game for Monterrey Fundidores in Mexico's Liga de Futbol América Profesional in 2017. Johnson was among the NFL's most prolific wide receivers during the early 2000s. He holds nearly every Bengals record in receiving.
