Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. was born July 10, 1988. He is also known as "AB", the name of an American football wide receiver and a free agent. Brown was born in Liberty City, Miami and attended Miami Norland High School. He played in the NCAA football tournament at Central Michigan University, where Brown was awarded All-American honours in 2008 and 2009 for a punt returner. Brown was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He is widely regarded as one the best receivers in the league. Brown was a Steelers draft steal. The Steelers sent Brown to the Steelers in the sixth round in 2010. Brown also earned All-American distinction in 2009 and 2008 as punt returners. Brown finished his first season with 16 receptions and 167 yards across 10 games. He was the first NFL player to have more than 1,000 yards of receiving and returning in his second NFL season. In recognition of his achievements, Brown was selected as a punt returner for the 2012 Pro Bowl. Brown's breakout season was 2013 when he became the first receiver to score at least five receptions in a single NFL season. Brown's on-the field productivity didn't decrease in the next few seasons. Brown led the league in receptions and receiving yards in 2014, 2015 , and 2017 and he also received touchdowns in 2018.
