5 Anna is an 18-year-old Russian girl who is a victimized by domestic abuse and is determined to do whatever it is necessary to escape her circumstances. Alex is a KGB agent, is able to spot Anna's predicament and is able to recruit Anna as an operative in the field. After a year of training, she's told that she'll work for five years under Olga who is a senior KGB agent. After five years are over the agent can be dismissed and begin afresh. Vassiliev who is the newly appointed KGB director, states that he won't honor the original contract. He is convinced that the former agents pose a threat to the KGB and that dying is the only way to be free. Anna begins a career as a model for fashion in Paris and is involved in numerous assignments and assassinations. To keep from being questioned and to avoid being a target, she forms a bond with Maude who is a model and is supported by Olga. In exchange for the chance to begin a new life in Hawaii she accepts that she will be an agent double with the CIA with agent Leonard Miller as her handler. Miller demands that she kill Vassiliev as Miller believes that the CIA believes that the person who succeeds will enhance their relationship. Anna kills Vassiliev while they play chess and proceeds to kill herself in the KGB.
