Alfonso Herrera

 Herrera was born in Mexico City and made his television debut on Clase 406 in 2002. He also made his film debut in Amar te Doele the same year. He also won an MTV Movie Awards Mexico. He was a global star in 2004 when he played Miguel Arango, the protagonist of the Mexican telenovela Rebelde (2004-09). Herrera was one of the six lead singers of the group, which was a success in Latin America, USA and Europe, was nominated twice for the Latin Grammy Award and sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.In 2009, he was a star in the Venezuelan film Venezzia, the Mexican series Mujeres Asesinas and the Mexican television series Camaleones.In 2014, Herrera played the lead role in the political satire comedy film The Perfect Dictatorship. From 2015 until the year 2018, he played the sensitive an art professor, Hernando Fuentes, secret boyfriend of actor Lito Rodriguez in the American drama series Sense8 on Netflix. He was Father Tomas on the American horror series The Exorcist (2016-17). He also starred as a co-star in the American drama series Queen of the South (2018-19). Herrera played Ignacio de la Torre y Mier, the role he was awarded the Ariel Award for Best Actor. In 2022, he starred as cartel lieutenant Javi Elizondro in the last season of the Netflix crime drama series Ozark.
