It ranked first on Twitter and became an international trending topic. Ross began hosting "e-date" streams during the same time. Ross was dissatisfied with the NBA 2K21 creators and their game, and came up with the hashtag #make2kfunagain. His Twitch channel was later attacked by a bot. A flood of bot followers resulted in the total number of followers on his channel exceeding 3 million. According to TwitchBea, Adin already had more than 1 million subscribers and was attracting around 30000 viewers each stream.
