Valerie Bertinelli

  Valerie Anne Bertinelli[1] (born April 23, 1960)[2] is an American actress. As a child she first gained attention for her character Barbara Cooper Royer in the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984). She received two Golden Globe Awards, for which she was named the Best Supporting Actress in a TV series, Miniseries, or Film. The actress then gained fame as an adult in the roles of Gloria on the Christian drama show Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) as well as Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015) and the latter earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012. Her shows include Valerie's Home Cooking (2015-2018) and Kids Baking Championship (2015). The latter was awarded two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominations. Bertinelli has signed a contract extension with Food Network in December 2021. [3] Bertinelli was married to musician Eddie Van Halen from 1981 until 2007, and with whom she had one child, Wolfgang. From 2011 until 2022 she was married to Tom Vitale.
