Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9 in 1985) is an American actress. She has won numerous awards such as an Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards and three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award as well as an Tony Award; making her one of the newest people to receive nominations for the "Triple Crown of acting" and also the youngest to have done so without winning.Kendrick began her career performing in theatre productions at an early age. Her first major role was in the 1998 Broadway musical High Society, for which she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured actress in musical. The film debut was in the film Camp (2003). The actress became famous for her performance in the Twilight Saga (2008). Recognition was further rewarded with the comedy-drama film Up in the Air (2009) which resulted in her being nominated for the Academy Award. She also was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. She sang on numerous soundtracks to her films and at numerous events like the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors, the 2015 Academy Awards and the 2015 Pitch Perfect film series. In 2016, she released Scrappy Little Nothing which is a memoir.
