Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller, born on November 30, 1965, is an American actor, comedian and film maker. He is the father and daughter of actors and comedians Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara. 1 Stiller was a member of the Frat Pack, a group of actors who were comedians. His films have grossed over $2.6 billion across Canada as well as the United States with an average of $79 million per film. He has been awarded many awards and accolades during his entire career. He was awarded an award called a Primetime Emmy Award in 1992 for his Outstanding Writing for Variety Program. The show was telecast on MTV between 1990 between 1990 and 1992. After appearing on TV shows such as Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development, he started acting in movies. Reality Bites was his first directorial venture. He continued to direct films and frequently appeared in the films. He also appeared in several comedies from the studio, including Along Came Polly (1998), Dodgeball: An Underdog Story (2004) and Starsky & Hutch (2004). Stiller is also famous for his numerous franchise films, which include the Meet the Parents films 2000-2010 and the Madagascar franchise (2005–2012) and the Night at the Museum trilogy (2006)-2014.
