 Zendaya Maree Stoermer Cole[2] (/z@n’deI.@/z@n-DAY 3] was born September 1, 1996 [4][55) is a famous American performer, actress, and performer. She has won many awards including two Primetime Emmy Awards. Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in its annual list of 2022.Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zendaya began her career as a child model and backup dancer. In 2010, she made her TV debut on Shake It Up, as Rocky Blue. She also played in K.C. as the main character. For the channel, she was a part of the show's Undercover (2015-2018). Her first feature film appearance was made in 2017 in the film based on her superhero, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and she was later in the sequels. Zendaya's portrayal of Rue Bennett, a struggling drug addicted teenager, in the HBO Teen Drama Euphoria (2019-present) has made her the youngest winner of two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in the field of Drama Series. Zendaya's film credits include The Greatest Showman (2017) and Malcolm & Marie (2021) and the science-fiction epic Dune (2021). In the year 2011, she dropped the singles "Swag It Out" and "Watch Me", the latter a collaboration with Bella Thorne. In 2012, she signed with Hollywood Records. Her debut album (2013), which she called "Replay" was a moderately popular success. The lead single from the album, "Replay", reached 40 on the U.S. charts. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Zendaya's greatest commercial success as a musician was her Zac Efron collaboration "Rewrite the Stars" in the The Greatest Showman soundtrack in 2018. The track ranked in the top 20 of a variety of charts and has earned multi-platinum sales certifications globally.
