Rosa Perez was born September 6, 1964. She is an American choreographer and actress. Her breakthrough role as Tina in Do the Right Thing (1989) was followed by White Men Can't jump (1992). Perez's performance as Tina in Fearless (1993) was rewarded with her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Perez has starred in many films since her time in the film and has appeared in films such as It Could Happen to You (1994), The Road to El Dorado ((2000), Pineapple Express (2008) and Birds of Prey (2021). She was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Award nominations, one for In Living Color (1990-1994) as well as one for her role as The Flight Attendant (2020-2021). She has also appeared in stage shows on Broadway including The Ritz, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Fish in the Dark. She also hosted on the ABC talk show The View during the series' 18th season.
